Corn is literally the leader in JSRF (which takes place in 2024) Its explicitly said and Beat joins them later

Both are my favourite characters of both games! Corn looks more like a leader but Beat is definitely the flagship of the GG's.

The original JSR’s GGs founding members were Tab (Corn) & Gum, with Beat joining once the game starts. So it kind of applies for both versions.

Considering JSR it was beat who formed the GG's and in JSRF Tab/Corn took the reigns ... it's only fair it's Gum now.
