condemning graffiti/vandalism is inherently racist and classist and exposes you as being willfully ignorant to cultures and art outside of your own bubble. i know this is already being said but i want to make sure my followers understand my stance on that lmao

This is the bullshit on the wall across the street from my building. Graffiti is worth condemning when it’s an inspiration less eye sore like this.pic.twitter.com/wI7PMxn3hB

How is this not inspirational? It can still be seen as a form of self-expression, regardless of overall quality. If you ask me, the example you gave is no less relevant than other larger works of street art:pic.twitter.com/UuvaClAIqp

How are we comparing this to what I posted? This looks great, this isn’t random scribbles put up by someone who doesn’t respect the art.

Exactly! Just because it's illegal doesn't make it not art. It's someone who's brave enough to put their voice out there, especially since they know it's against the law. I'd argue that the fact it's not allowed is why graffiti still exists at all.

Art was here before humans even arrived, it was color, it was shapes... it’s human nature claim that everything in this world is ours and that we have to make rules for the things we own... but art doesn’t need our help at all, it can live without us. TRUE art doesn’t have rules
