The sad truth is that @SEGA have gotten so lazy. They know Sonic is their cash cow and that's why they make a Sonic game every so often. They know it will make money no matter what and because of that they try to fill a quota rather than focus on quality and make it better.

I want to believe I'm wrong and it's just Sonic Team being lazy but it's 2020 and there's STILL no news of a new JSR. However, it is said we will be finally getting Phantasy Star Online 2 over here in the west officialy. So who knows what's possible.
