Rokkaku hid most of the copies
Most copies weren’t purchased but instead came with the original Xbox itself for free. Hard to guage sales on a game that came with the console.

I heard about that, but it had to have not done well enough to not receive a follow up long ago. Trust me, a follow up would have happened long ago if it did well enough. Maybe people were not ready for its awesomeness?
