@intellijidea Why project per window model
, isn't the most intelligent IDE is not intelligent enough to see that not all companies works on MONO repos or single module projects. How do i support to do cross module development and cross module execution and debug ?
Opening multiple projects in one window are possible if you treat them like modules. To do so, follow this steps: Select File->Project Structure->Modules. Select + and Import Module and select the directory of your project(or directory where pom exists) and click OK.

Well this is what most of us do at the moment, but its just a bad workaround. The whole IDE features are built to support one project per window, adding another project like a module does mess up Spring Tooling, Libraries and SonarLint like stuff.

Is it possible to have in the future a single IDE (IDEA) with first-class support for all the other languages (like CLion, GoLand, RubyMine, PyCharm, Rider, etc...)? This would make IDEA the best IDE out there I think... Thank you :)

It already works with the exception of CLion, AppCode and Rider. Plug-ins for the corresponding languages may appear in the future.
