@jetbrains I think the configuration for languages in intellij needs a re-think. It's very inconsistent between java, go, ruby, javascript... it's like different teams working on these languages didn't talk to each other
Hi Phil. Could you clarify what exactly is not convenient/inconsistent? Thanks.

under project structure->Platform settings there are SDKs but none for Go. confusing that for a go project I see options for java and ruby SDKs but no Go (that is set up in a different location)pic.twitter.com/dnQQWsgX86

It's not supposed to be there. Settings GOROOT doesn't change the project model, GoLand has no Project structure dialog at all. GOROOT is set either automatically or right from the editor while editing Go file, you don't need to open setting at all.

ok, under settings -> language and frameworks I see javascript, go. but I don't see java and ruby. It's pretty confusing to mix languages and frameworks as well... seems like they should be different categories.

when I go to project settings I see project SDK. There is no option for go even though it's a working go project.pic.twitter.com/ZZZEqAws3u
