@jetbrains I'm using IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate 2018.1.5. The built-in git support is awesome, but I feel like I'm missing something. I can fetch easily enough, but I don't see a way to prune when doing so. It seems like there's no equivalent to `git fetch -p` or `git fetch --prune`.
use VCS - Git - Fetch, it will run `git fetch --progress --prune` agains every remote in your project. Fetch that is done as a part of Update project does not use --prune flag.

Interesting. I'll try that. I've never fetched via either of those methods. I've always used Cmd-Shift-A, typed "fetch", and run the fetch action from there. Is that supposed to prune? In my experience, it hasn't.
