Agreed. I just wish that any of the reasons they use to justify this were even remotely based in fact or science. Instead it’s based on a flawed study with zero nuance regarding the topic.
It all stems from ignorance and irrational fears...finding/funding a study to support a preconceived notion or bigoted stance isn't difficult unfortunately, especially in the current climate...so we fight and we educate and we stick together to stay safe in the meantime I guess
That’s all we can do. I think I’ve pretty much accepted the inevitable. I just hate that it is going to end quite so unceremoniously. Sadly my performance does not outweigh bigotry. That’s the most hurtful part. It never mattered how hard I tried or how well I excelled.
