  3. Thanks to our panelists, Renaissance Charter School & our neighbors who made it to our 2nd town hall of the year! We had a packed room, great questions & what better way to end a night of discussing cannabis and sex work than with some snacks and rock & roll!🎵🎶✊🏼🎉

  4. We also discussed victims of human trafficking more generally — survivors need to be allowed a second chance at life, free from the criminal records forced upon them by their traffickers. My Vacatur/START Act bill (S.4981-B) will accomplish just that. Let’s get this done!

  9. When people complain about the smell of cannabis, says, “Does the smell of cigars bother you? The smell of petrochemicals offends me more. We have Asthma Alley in the South Bronx because of air pollution primarily caused by exhaust from vehicles. That offends me.”

  10. Myth-busting w/: Myth: Legalization will ⬆️ youth use of cannabis. Fact: Studies haven’t found any correlation & dispensaries won’t risk their licenses for selling to minors. Myth: It’s a gateway drug. Fact: False—even found to help decrease dependency on opioids.
