I won't attend another Linux foundation event unless they decide to distribute more of the wealth into the hands of contributors who could actually use it.

I got your point that LF is more about vendor FOSS than contributor’s FOSS. They have been helpful when my company wanted to start a corporate project. On the personal level they have granted scholarships to several students from third world countries for the events.

For many of us that live outside the US, the LF scholarships are one of the most accesibles in regards to attending events and get some good networking.
