For a class, I read about a marijuana dealer with a prior conviction from New Jersey. He was caught dealing in Dover. Sentenced to 17 years for being a convicted felon with firearms. Underlying charges were all marijuana-related. Seriously stupid.
Today a voter told me about a family member who was sentenced to 7 years on marijuana charges. On top of that he had to fight to get his seized assets back & find a way to get to work with a suspended license. We’re going to legalize weed, expunge records & end civil forfeiture.
