Who says that these mothers are "diagnosing" anyone with anything? They are seeing changes in their children, observing it with their own eyes. I don't blame them for feeling the need for a label for what they're seeing, when so many are seeing it.

The problem is, there is no one who is truly objective. Children certainly aren't. Parents may not be. There is no reason to expect "gender experts" to be objective as well. Who is it we trust to care for children the best in this society?
