2/ My point is neither that the Brown study is some unimpeachable work of perfect science that *proves* X or Y or Z (which the author never claims), or that Kristina Olson's work should be disregarded. It's that this conversation is horribly disingenuous and politicized.

3/ Olson and her colleagues ALSO have been interviewing the kids in question and their parents. Littman wants to do the same thing. The fact that she didn't in an initial, exploratory study is quite obviously not some scandalous dealbreaker.http://sometimesimwrong.typepad.com/wrong/2015/11/

This degree of politicization is not a good environment for conducting unbiased research. It makes it harder for us to find out the truth.

Oh my, haven’t you heard there is no objective reality by which to make Truth claims. There is only subjective reality shaped by language....please keep up.

Designed to produce a pre-ordained conclusion? You mean like the "Discrimination At Every Turn" study which is relentlessly cited by trans activists, even though it was produced by 2 political orgs, with recruitment through activist orgs, with an overtly biased recruitment pitch?
