Hey @YouTube @YTCreators by any chance can I get my 200.000 subscribers and +200 million views back that got terminated in 2017 due to a bot reporting all 2000 of my videos?

Hey back, appeals are very carefully reviewed. If you've already appealed and it got rejected, there's nothing more we can do. Here's more info about account terminations, including why it can happen: https://yt.be/help/WX8p

YouTube, you need to give people second chances. Change your policies. A LIFE SENTENCE is not fair, even 99.99% of people who break the law get a specific number of years in jail, and when they get out they get a second chance at life. Yet you ban people for LIFE?

Losing your channel is not a life sentence in jail, it's being fired by a company and like losing your job. If you get fired, you go get a job somewhere else. I don't know any specifics of this case, but YouTubers are more like employees to YouTube than anything else.

So please tell me where the hell a YouTuber is supposed to go next. There is NO competing website for YouTube. You think people actually make money on Vimeo and Dailymotion? If you're banned on YouTube your entire career is over, you need to completely change your entire life.

If you get fired at Walmart, you just get a job at Target. Being banned for life on YouTube, which has a MONOPOLY, means you need to change your entire career to something else. Your whole life's work means nothing now.

I spent 10 YEARS gaining the skills necessary and working my ass off to get my channel from 0 - 120,000 subs. Then I got banned for life and now there is nowhere to go. I'd seriously trade 2 years in prison to have my channel back.

I can't WAIT for a competitor to come up, people will leave YouTube in MASSES. Ninja leaving Twitch for Mixer was such a good sign, soon there will be a similar thing happening with content creators leaving YouTube for a new competitor.

You can start a new channel on YouTube. You can stream on Twitch, Facebook, and Mixer. You can build an audience on Instagram and make lots of money. Also, if a competitor to YouTube shows up it'll be bought up by a big company, just like Twitch was bought by Amazon.

If you built a big following on YouTube and nowhere else, that's a super risky way of going about things. I started late on Twitch but I diversified there a couple years ago and building a community on discord. The demonetisation of 2017 spurred me to move eggs to other baskets.
