I've seen mentioned on-line that trying to influence a Judge's decision is wrong, or against the law. I think there is a big difference between influencing them on decisions on outcome, or sentences/payouts, on a criminal/civil case, vs. decision on basic/equal human rights.

That's more of a one on one thing. A hundred people yelling can't be charged with that. And normally people wouldn't even know this was happening yet without the leak.
