And maybe it wasn’t weird? They’re probably an endangered species since nobody know what the heck they even are. They’re probably an endangered species, meaning A they need to procreate if possible and B it would be tough to find other parents
Anyway, I’m sure there’s another explanation and I look forward to watching/hearing/reading it eventually

I was about to say, I don’t know if Yoda is someone to let his passions get away with him enough to spawn a child... but if it was done to keep his species from going extinct I can see that.
