Thinking about how in my first animation class (1 year college course that I dropped out of) I was told that if I really wanted to be an animator I'd give up my social life for years. Now I'm at MF Gobelins and they always insist that we take time to rest so we don't burn out.

Honestly I came here with so much self-inflicted burnout and scared I wouldn't last the two years but they've helped me a lot. The school are really concerned with student wellness, at least in my experience and from what I can tell of my classmates.
that's amazing!! I'm really happy for you that you're in a place you're being properly nurtured and supported <3 it definitely took me a while to recover from my animation university experience haha
