i visited the studio last year, on an open day that attracted people from all over the world (i met someone from calarts there!), just to go SEE what it’s like, for one day!
they sprawl across the whole town over abt three locations, have dorm buildings for people who relocate to work there, run arts festivals and support other studios. they’re hugely influential on the irish industry, so much that the tourist board pimps it real hard !
