Today was the day Amtrak started running again through my town. It was raining. We had a party to welcome the train back. Probably the largest group of people I'd been in since 2019. Infrastructure is healing.pic.twitter.com/SqQklspz7E
It was a *thing*, a bunch of train history speakers, free donuts and coffee, a little diorama and pix of the train station over time. Kids with balloons. @LiveFromGround was covering it for the paper, saw a deer run across the tracks. #vermontpic.twitter.com/oTnlzS12Iu
