I'm not quite able to articulate how utterly bereft I feel about this news, but I have a few points in the following tweets...https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/apr/25/raw-hatred-why-incel-movement-targets-terrorises-women?CMP=share_btn_tw …
- We (meaning women, and people from oppressed and minority communities) know about the danger of groups like this. The 'incel' movement isn't a new thing for us to be afraid of - it's just men, as always, feeling oppressed and entitled and resorting to violence as a result.

- Threats made online can translate to threats carried out offline. I have seen these threats carried out in the manner of letters, mail drops, and people lurking outside someone's apartment. These are the local examples, and exclude previous instances like that in Isla Vista.

- When will we take this stuff seriously? When I say 'we', I don't mean women, or again others from oppressed or minority communities (because again, we already do). I mean law enforcement, social media platforms, and other sites that host these domains.

- I don't have a detailed answer for what I'd like this response to be, but I do know that I'd like for websites to stop hosting forums that advocate for the legalised rape of women.

- What has to happen for these attitudes to change? I don't know if I want an answer to this, to be honest.
