Doctors in the US are still refusing to provide any treatment for COVID. The most insidious thing about the vaxx is that it created this perverse incentive to bury and dismiss any alternative treatments, even for the vaxxed population. People suffering are told to "ride it out".

Paxlovid is commonly used for Covid patients, among other treatments. I’m curious what you might mean by “refusing to provide any treatment” that takes this into account?

Isn’t Paxlovid empirically proven to work significantly better than placebo, even if it doesn’t work for everyone, and didn’t work for your friend? Is the main issue that you think it’s being underprescribed?

It is only prescribed to people who are at a high risk and can convince a Dr. of that. So basically if you have wealth, connections, or something else going for you like race. Otherwise, very difficult to convince Dr. you are high risk status
