I didn't realize it was even legal to send a 12-yo for irreversible body mod surgery. Back in my day, we had a thing called phases, trends. People saw stuff on TV and wanted to be it / do it. Some even thought drugs were cool but their parents damn sure weren't encouraging. WTF?

In a discussion about adolescent gender transitions, Dr. Scott Mosser explained that he has performed “over two thousand top surgeries,” which involve removing girls’ breasts, and that there is no age limit for beginning the “gender journey.”

If you are an adult and you want to become Lizard Man, go for it. I have no problem with body modification & plastic surgery, if you are fully aware of the consequences and capable of consent. The less reversible, the more we have a duty to be sure about the person's psychology.

Kids are easily influenced. A 5-yo will tell you they identify as a T-Rex and they would demand to be transformed, if the option was available. There's a reason some countries ban marketing to children. A 12-yo honestly is not that much more capable of making this decision.

Between the public education system's indoctrination and Netflix brainwashing us to believe that the teenage population is 80% trans and it's a fun, great way to be popular, you're fighting an uphill battle. Clarity might require an intervention, hard exit from the environment.

People are literally abusing your children. You're confused because instead of saying "don't tell your parents", this time they're saying "tell your parents it was your idea", and you're short-circuited. Welcome to grooming 101. It's money out, dicks in. Your kids. Stay vigilant.

If the last 2 years have taught us anything it's that the "experts" and doctors don't know anything. Most people are conformists and will blindly follow a mob to commit atrocities. Your child's welfare is not a responsibility you can outsource. Trust your god-given instincts. /🧵

One more thing. It's ok to * be a boy who likes to wear dresses and do makeup * be a girl who likes to wear pants and play sports * explore your attraction to the same gender You don't have to accept permanence, labels, stereotypes, perform your identity to others' expectations.

the degree of work most parents must put in to keep economically afloat has caused many to barely spent time with their children and that is most likely at the heart of this. kids are being raised by "non-parents"

Outstanding thread, thank you Jesse from the bottom of this parents heart for your reasonable but strong approach. Live and let live, support the LGBTQ community but if you cross a line and come for my kids in an inappropriate way I simply won’t stand for it.
