Agree. Marking the airdrop at time of depeg is a handout to insiders and "professional" funds who will be forced to immediately dump because they're under water and have redemptions they can't service. Focus the benefit on retail and those who will be long-term holders.

From a CEX point of view,how difficult will it be getting the snapshot?

very easy to get snapshot of on-exchange balances as of any block height. we have handled many airdrops/forks in the past.

If someone held on Kraken, but sold at a loss, theoretically would they be reimbursed to what they held at the time of the snapshot? Or if they now buy back, and you can see the past account history, would that help them, or would they be treated like any new buyers? 🙏
