I heard you need to have proof of vaxx to enter the US by air as a non-resident/non-citizen. I thought this can't be true given that we can fly freely inside the country without a test or mask. Anyone know if this is true? Are there hidden exceptions (like negative test)?

There's a loophole San Diego has kept quiet about. You can 'walk' across the border without vax burdens. The Tijuana airport bridges the border. You're in Mexico when you fly out/in but you're in the USA when you walk outside from the airport's front doors. You're welcome.

Careful, this is not exactly true. You'd be counting on the CBX (Cross-Border Xpress) bridge DHS officers not asking for your vaccination certificate. You could probably get away with it but may lose US visa if caught. CBX has all of the regular immigration formalities.
