One big learning from college Statistics class: the “experts” rarely produce a study that isn’t fatally flawed, obviously biased or completely misinterpreted. “The Science” is not raw data — it’s some biased “expert” puppet’s uncritical interpretation of cherry-picked data. twitter.com/EPoe187/status

That’s a pretty cynical, postmodern view of all experts. So what’s the solution? Trust no reports? Doubt everyones motives? Honest question

Very true. When I was running a 6 Sigma Continuous Improvement effort I was always very careful to include as much of the data as possible in the reports. Any data that was excluded was available and a reason given for the exclusion….. falsification etc.
