Do I just have bad luck or has the quality of experience at restaurants become a crap shoot in the last few months? It's like half the people with any sense of professionalism and hospitality bailed and were replaced by people who hate their jobs but hate customers more.

(No idea where I got this from but it’s def not mine) Theres this idea that when shit gets tough, humans tend to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and hustle harder. e.g. mine shuts down, ex-miners choose to learn new skill via govt sub’d programs, get better job, win-win
