I ask about it as often as I ask about the flu "vaccine".
Basic etiquette:
Have reason to believe you have the flu = stay home
Don't have reason to believe you have the flu = live your life
Your friends are crazy if that’s their request. Unless they have someone in the house who has a weakened immune system or can’t get the vaccine. In which case they shouldn’t be hosting at all.
