Do I just have bad luck or has the quality of experience at restaurants become a crap shoot in the last few months? It's like half the people with any sense of professionalism and hospitality bailed and were replaced by people who hate their jobs but hate customers more.

Almost every restaurant I’ve been to recently, especially in more rural areas, say they’re short staffed and apologize for any poor service as a result.

i think it is better to cut them some slack with all the pandemic shit happening and most of the people doing those jobs are either students or people on 2nd shifts trying to make ends meet so i would say you are lucky enough to afford those meals and luxury . count to 10 i guess

I tweeted about a similar issue I had yesterday trying to get my son a decent haircut. What is going on? We are falling apart. Nobody showing up to work. 👇

Where have all the workers gone? Nobody is working anymore in Austin, Texas. Many businesses have to close early because nobody shows up to work. I felt lucky to have my son get a haircut yesterday even though I had to go twice because it was so bad. Looked like a child cut it.
