I hope Australians realize how much value is being destroyed by the country’s authoritarian policies. Remote employment opportunities with foreign companies are disappearing. Business acquisitions are deemed too risky by foreign buyers. Engineers are forced to emigrate for jobs.

We are now very limited in the roles available to Australian residents because of the recent policy changes. You might be better off nomading it for a bit or indefinitely relocating to a friendlier geo, not putting Australia as place of residence on job application.
