Remote work creates silos. Talking to people outside your core group now has to be intentional versus catching them in the cafeteria or in the hallway after a meeting. I had a recent Zoom call with a peer where we realized we would have talked months earlier if in the office.

Not to mention that the factors that have historically gone into being ‘innovative’ are not the same factors that will go into innovation as time goes on. I love the innovation that is already happening with remote work becoming more ubiquitous!
