The banks are protecting themselves... Pretty obvious. Self-regulation and running the county has its privileges.

Exactly. They can do a China and push the whole industry offshore. And make ppl look at tax laws and planning, jurisdictions, company structures more seriously now.

100% accurate. It's crazy to think that in the crypto sphere with coins named shiba inu and so in they go after the only few serious companies.

Out of sight, out of mind. Feel like the same thing happened with ESMA regulations. If the firm doesn’t sit within their jurisdiction then they don’t have to pay up for compensation schemes etc.
