You know how everyone's worried about AI taking control from humans. The robots will roll over and humans will be left as their own defenders of last resort. Apply that to Afghanistan. Shouldn't we have used the last 20 years to build an army of 10m badass female warriors?

Not sure of specifics. Here are the bits I heard: 1. Afghan Army is heavily dependent on US logistics. Without it they are neutered. 2. Command paralysis. Armies need orders and confident command. 3. Lack of (stolen) wages leading to easy terms of surrender. I suspect 1 is key
