Interesting idea from Kraken CEO: what if Coinbase emailed its 30M+ US customers about the Senate bill? (such moves not really viable for big companies but if there was every a time this would be it..)

Great of you to make a statement about your individual views but what about leveraging your company to spread awareness of this and call users to action? When will @coinbase tweet and email a direct, urgent CTA? Please join us in this fight. One person tweeting is not enough.

Fair point. "Not conventional" is more what I meant. No reason they can't other than fear of political blowback (which couldn't be much worse than consequences of Portman amendment passing)
