Fair point. "Not conventional" is more what I meant. No reason they can't other than fear of political blowback (which couldn't be much worse than consequences of Portman amendment passing)

Agree. Not conventional but was a critical piece of the Uber/Lyft survival strategy and worked very well for them. PayPal also successfully leveraged users to rally for them in problematic geos. Yes, there is some risk but this is suicide for our country. IMO worth fighting for.
