For U.S. clients to be eligible for margin trading on Kraken, they will need to self-certify as an Eligible Contract Participant... You are required to have more than $10 million in assets invested on a discretionary basis. Well that rules out all of CT then

Requirements are for ECP. We would have preferred something more accessible if we had a choice.

We were willing to jump through whatever regulatory hoops necessary to continue operating the product for non-ECP. Unfortunately, we were told that there is no license, no regulated path to offering this product to non-ECP in the US. FCM would not help.
