How do I stop people from sharing my contact info with apps that make sharing your entire contacts db a requirement for using the app? I like the photos access feature that lets you share only selected photos. Personally, I use a phone with no contacts to test these apps out.

Well funny you bring up contacts. You realize I have an original painting that you won with a piece you purchased and don’t know how to reach you...

I need to be notified when someone doxxes me. Who did it and when so they don’t get the new info.

I liked CyanogenMod firmware replacement years ago when they had the feature to feed a fake empty contact list during API calls like that.

Cyan was designed for people _aware_ of many things. such people don't feed apps with the contact list either.

You can't. That's the beauty of this trick I guess. We all know how to separate our real contact from the one we use for mailing lists etc. but you can't use disposable contacts with all your friends and family, and one of them will be your point of vulnerabilty. Spring cleanup?

Yeah, would be nice if you got alerted every time someone exposed you and who did it so you could blacklist them in the future. I don’t think people even realize what they’re giving up. They think it’s local access. It seems like an impossible thing to be able to do so easily.
