Can we just make it mandatory that police do 20 hours of BJJ and mental health awareness training so they don’t have to unnecessarily brutalize unarmed little old ladies as they are trying to go about their business picking flowers?

But this cost money and you hate taxes, so how is this going to happen? Thing is, taxes are the price you pay for a civilized society. Which is why high tax countries always get on top of where people want to live, and where people are happy.

I don’t hate taxes. I hate government waste and mismanagement. San Francisco, for example, spends $50k+/yr per person living on the street. It could actually solve the problem for a fraction of that but it’s either incompetent or the people in power benefit from not solving it.

As much as I hate taxes, they’re great at forcing the HODL. Right now the incentive to HODL is 35% in CA. Just imagine how much HODLing everyone will do when taxes are 55%. If you want #Bitcoin, better buy it now before it’s too expensive to sell. Biden understands this.

Maybe I changed my mind in the last 48h ;) Really though, would gladly pay much higher fees for the club, if the club was delivering on value. The idea of pooling funds to buy services is good in theory. In practice, in CA, we don’t get anywhere close to what we pay for.
