People of Austin, TX, what’s the situation with the street camping? Is Prop B going to pass? Thinking about a move but would never live in another city where filth and dangerously unstable people are allowed to run unchecked after seeing the devastation in SF and Venice, CA.

I spent Jan-Feb of this year there. It’s really, really bad. We couldn’t believe the number of “public campers”. Felt dangerous walking around several parts of town. Wouldn’t want to live there right now.

The area under I-35 highway just east of downtown was unbelievable. Just a massive encampment under the elevated highway. Reminded me of bad parts of philly or dc.

Def not as bad as SF or Seattle hobos. They aren’t walking around dancing with machetes lol

Venice Beach is a warzone. Went to scope some beach front property there and wow no way in hell.
