The only way to "make it" LT through IB/PE is being a psychopath or have a strong *real* network. Nevertheless, I can conceive it's cooler to be a burnt-out a-hole with no (real) friends or family that worked at GS or other life depriving company than just be random happy person

The first rule of Survival in any situation is Protection. That's before water and food. The second rule is Hope and this was abused. Understanding Survival is Understanding Immutable Truth. Bitcoin BTC is just another tool that provides Immutable Truth.
