By that logic everyone should go out and buy an electric car tomorrow. And manufacturers should HAVE to stop producing gas powered vehicles. But they won’t, and instead of focusing on that, we’re discussing the environmental impact of an industry much smaller than ones that exist

Spending electricity doesn’t create a carbon footprint any more than spending money does. Don’t like trees getting burnt for energy or to make money, take up the problem at the production stage. Once it’s in circulation, the owner of the asset can spend it on whatever they want.

Right so how many trees destroyed? How much toxic waste from they dying process? How much forest cleared to make way for skyscrapers to house bankers who drive their SUVs to the office on roads that displaced wildlife, etc? You get the picture. Fiat system is extremely harmful.
