can someone please tell me why NFT’s take so much energy? i cant find any article that flat out says why, just that they do. genuinely just curious & def not rich enough to buy real art let alone NFT’s lol

There is definitely an agenda being driven by people with a vested interest in the legacy systems that control and intermediate the movement of value around the world. Peer-to-peer, decentralized forms of wealth and value transfer threaten the status quo.
