Any breakdown of rationale of yays/nays? Playing devil’s advocate, being against a bill doesn’t necessarily mean you’re against the objective. You could just think it’s not the governments place to act or there’s something else dangerous about it.

Full text of the bill below. It was largely symbolic, calling for condemnation of anti-Asian sentiment & for law enforcement to investigate & document hate crimes (it's already supposed to do that). So I'll leave it to readers to infer why someone would vote against it
