Markets are all independent in crypto. There is no centralized monopoly like you have in equities. I bought a whole pineapple in Cambodia for $0.25. Same pineapple $3 in California.

It was a thin and/or rapidly changing order book. Nothing malfunctioned, but liquidity wasn’t there or moved out of the way extremely quickly. Slippage.
