Bullshit lawsuits is high on our list of disqualifiers. Also, tickers are up to each exchange and not dictated by any external party or centralized registrar. Any asset can get any ticker and there are often differences and conflicts between exchanges and coins.
I still prefer kraken's XBT over BTC honestly. I'm sad it isn't as widespread.
