They don’t see it as losing ground. Income and wealth inequality is falling. Housing availability rising while cost falling. Businesses paying more taxes and diversifying their boards. By every metric of success they’re optimizing for, they’re crushing it.

What businesses? It's the businesses that are all leaving. HP, Oracle, Charles Schwab, Tesla (So Cal) + Space X. If major corporations leave, there is nothing more to tax except for small businesses.

Found a few more... cnbc.com/2020/12/01/hpe Palantir (both company and founder) Dropbox (founder) HPE, btw, had revenues of $7.21 billion. CA can kiss that revenue goodbye forever.

Yes but the businesses who are staying are paying more taxes so it's a win! The state doesn't want businesses who don't want to pay their "fair share". It solves so many problems at once. Moral standards raised, real estate opens up, prices come down for ordinary people. /s
