I knew a guy in rehab that was 3 months clean off Meth that cut his finger open because he still thought the FBI had implanted a GPS chip in his finger. Meth cooks your brain. Sometimes permanent. #Methisbad

I read that it can take 12-18 mos of abstinence to get back to mostly normal, some damage irreversible, cravings may last many years. Hopefully psilocybin research can be helpful here. I don’t see how treatment can work without long-term removal from the user’s environment.
