I'm looking to hire a few people full-time to work on an alternative to urban camping in California. My approach will be to use the current city budgets outside of the cities, with comprehensive care, away from drug dealers, in more cost-effective areas. Who should I talk to?

The solution would involve: * giving cities an alternative to prison and exile * giving people land to camp on, sanitation, food * mental health care, drug treatment, rehab * job training and work for those who are able

Also, these camps can’t be put into the urban towns either, it would devalue the urban towns property values if it like a “gypsy” camp. Also wonder how it would get funded 🤔 hmmm gotta be done right. 🤷🏻‍♂️ just hard to say how it would be done.

Reminds me of a comic I loved as a child, "The Star Pluckers". The last part of the comic is about a colony for homeless vagabonds, the theme being loosely based on a romanticized version of the Parisian Apaches: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apaches_( (Unfortunately no EN version was ever made)
