There should be term limits for all public officials and anyone acting in a regulatory, compliance or lawmaking capacity. The longer the term the higher the risk of becoming compromised/corrupt.

Yep, and the corruption issue isn't just a problem for that individual but for the party and society itself as a whole. Many voters seem to embrace aristocracy so don't even present it as an option. No matter how brilliant, nobody should be allowed to rule us for 33 years.

Funny thing is during the 90’s federal employees only had 20 yr terms to retire. Clinton changed that. Also allowed them to retire and draw federal pension after 20 yrs and work at a different agency. Then at 62 draw social security. They had it all planned. And they wrote laws
