Yes, there won’t want anonymous CBDC’s just like there are no anonymous wire transfers. Hence bitcoin, whilst not totally anonymous, it much much better

I agree it would be a miracle to see any anonymous CBDC but it's probably the only thing a CBDC would be good for -- an anonymous digital payment method of last resort to replace cash. If we're going full digital, who would fully traceable fiat? You'd prefer digital gold, #BTC.
