Who are the candidates for public office in #SF who are taking a hard stance against open drug dealing, petty theft and sidewalk encampments (i.e. crime)? There’s a lot of fluffyspeak about “doing better” but it’s hard to tell who is serious eliminating this stuff in SF ASAP.

There isn’t enough housing in SF for the world’s homeless population. There’s plenty of housing elsewhere in the world.

Someone born and raised in SF becomes homeless (endless people lost their jobs during this pandemic) and you feel entitled to expel that person from their streets? What an outrageous crime it is to live in the streets when you've lost your house. I pity you.

I agree with Archer. California has good weather for homeless people. They can shower in the beach. Why don’t you live somewhere else. Carona, wildfires, why don’t you go spend some time at your vacation home. At least we know your new bank will not have mercy on low income ppl.

It doesn't help you. The streets are a public space and if most really do have drug and/or mental issues then they need help. Criminalising homelessness isn't a solution and freedom cannot be bought with dollars.
Well yeah of course but Jesse doesn’t want to seem them on his way to work at his boring dead end job. How horrible it must be to pass them by! Drugs are only okay in CA/Silicone valley if it’s behind closed doors and with upper end prostitutes.
